did i mention how beautiful ann arbor is? well, the lake that we went to made it that much more likeable. we hit up the lake on the sunniest day that we were there. memorial day. then finished the day with some ice-cream. that saturday we hit up a farmers market and ate some fantastic breads. ashlyn (my little side-kick) begged and begged for a flower. of course i had to buy her one. her little glasses and eye patch staring up at me left my chin quivering. it melted my heart even more when she was carrying it with her every where we went.
one morning she asked me to put some make up on her while i was putting mine on. so i grabbed some brushes that had nothing on them and lightly brushed over her eye lids. i told her i was done and she looked in the mirror and said, "ohhhhh wow..........aunt melissa i look beeaauuutttiiiffuullll." she just kept staring at herself while saying that over and over again. luff her.

Seriously, the best vacation ever! We loved every minute and can't wait to be closer so we can just keep putting on the pounds everywhere we eat with you guys. My kids really miss you both, you should hear the comments... :)
