bear and lake and more logan
I know I just posted about Logan a couple of weeks ago, but what can ya say...we've been dang lucky to be able to go there again. This time we hit up Bear Lake to stay at a cabin, thanks to Kelley and Candice Marsh, and was able to go four wheeling before we went to Logan. It was awesome. There's just something about "being away" from home I guess that makes it way more exciting. Here are some pics of four wheeling up at the cabin and then all the friends that met up in Logan for dinner and games. (Thanks so much again Kelley and Candice for inviting us, we couldn't have asked for a better time with you guys!!)

cherelle's new babe
One of my very good friends, Cherelle just had the cutest little baby girl this last week, Kynlee! We are so dang happy for her! Some of us girls went to take a sneak peak while she was still in the hospital. Man, I just can't believe our friends are starting to have kids! And I can't believe I still feel like I'm 14. I guess some people just mature faster than others...um. Here's a few pics of the cute new baby and Cherelle! They are both so beautiful! You could have never guessed she just had a baby. She looked so good and was doing awesome! We're so excited for you Cherelle!!
This last picture is my friend Racquel's little boy. He's just like his mom, little and fetching cute! I was carrying him out of the hospital and he was just resting his little head on me. Even though in this picture it looks like I'm shoving his head against me and just forcing him to love me. I literally couldn't get enough of it, I made them take a picture. I'm just loving all of my wonderful friends and there beautiful kids! You just can't help but get baby starving while being around them.

friends in logan.
This weekend we spent up in Logan with our good friends, Todd and Brittany. Me, Brad, Tim and Rachel all drove up Saturday, spent the night..and went to church with them. It's impossible to not have fun with these guys! We stayed up till freakin 3 in the morning, something I literally haven't done since High School, me and Brad didn't even stay up that late while dating. We went out for some din din, played some games and chatted till the wee hours of the night. The guys started playing Blitz Football around midnight and the girls went out and drove around Logan and talked all night on some blankets at a look out point. It reminded me so much of high school, it was such a dang good night!
The next morning Brittany made some INCREDIBLE German Pancakes. I never had them before and they were so fetching good! Went to church and headed out. It was such a good weekend, we're lucky to have such good friends that we can see a lot. Thank you so much Todd and Brittany for all the fun! We couldn't have asked for more! :)

Diabetic Diet
A little shout out to all of you who, once upon a time looked at my Diabetic Diet blog that I made. Well, I've decided to go at it FULL FORCE now! I feel lately I have had an overload on wonderful, healthy tid bits of information. I need to get some out in the open because it has all been so great to know and I feel like everyone could use an extra boost to a healthy lifestyle:). happy valentines day.
We were so dang lucky to have my cousin, Leslie and her husband Mike from Canada, come down to stay the weekend with us! They slept in our apartment and knowing how freakin big it is, we were forced to practically spoon with each other the entire time they were here. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect Valentines weekend!
We just spent the day shopping and we had to take them to Rodizio's. They have never been there or to any restaurant like that, so of course me and Brad will use any excuse to go out to eat!
That night me and Brad whipped out our Fondue pot and we all went to town with it! We tried to get every piece of food that went good with Chocolate and ate like it was seriously our last day on earth. I love using "people coming to visit" as an excuse to eat junk food every second of the day.
Saturday morning we all woke up to Brad making red heart-shaped pancakes for Valentines......He's a keeper!
And last but not least-my only gift given to Brad for Valentines Day. This year I decided to go all out for him. HA!
I found this little succor at a store by our apt and couldn't stop myself.

!!!!!!!!!!!OUR TRIP TO KAUAI!!!!!!!!!
(Just a warning, this post is long, so please don't hesitate to skim)
As much as I LOVE looking at every one's blog, I am a picture lover, I tend to breeze through and just look at all the pictures, so if your like me...I'm sorry, I'll TRY to write as less as possible.
To start with, we were dreading having to pay for our rental car, because we are both under 25 so the amount doubled to rent a car for a week. So we get off our airplane at 10:30 at night and go straight to pick up our car. So the guy goes out to get our car and comes back and says, "We are out of economy cars, would you mind driving a convertible for the week?" ummm, we literally acted like we just won the lottery! We were going nuts! We were so excited, and please don't think we didn't use every excuse in the book to drive it!! We felt like kings.
This picture was taken about 10 ft from our condo....it really was too good to be true!
This next picture was HANDS DOWN our most favorite hot dog place! The best hot dog I have ever had in my life!! I've always been obsessed with hot dogs, but these dogs were made with Hawaiian relishes......ASASDFJA;FIAWEFASDJFASJF promise I want one so bad right now!
So about a week before we left, we found out our cousins were going to Kauai for there Honeymoon the exact same week as us. What are the fetchin chances?! So we ended up hanging out a few times, which we were honestly thrilled about!! One of the funnest things we did was go on this rope swing into this little pool from a river, down this little hidden trail. Absolute blast!

Our favorite beach was called Tunnels beach, did most of our snorkeling here. Priceless, I still can't believe we went.

Well guys, I might have to say that we felt like the worlds luckiest people! It was, by far, THE BEST trip I have ever been on in my life. Everything worked out smoothly, we just loved being able to do what we wanted and the time we felt like, and couldn't get enough of being on a practically deserted island with just us 2. Paradise. Simply Paradise. I recommend, to every person and there dog, to go to Kauai before you die. On almost every beach we were the only ones. No tourists, no traffic, no stress. Highly recommend it.

T'was the Season...and we were Jolly!
I get soo sad when Christmas is over with! It's just constant fun for 2 weeks straight!! There was a lot that happened so instead of writing novels under each picture, I'll just write a brief description before each event!
You can't start the season without going to see the Temple Square lights, and since we live right down the street from them, it was a must!
Ok, this next event was one of my favorite of ALL TIME! This year the Elder's decided to help out some families in need instead of drawing names for each other. It was the most humbling experience. Me, Brad, Jeff, Lisa, Brads aunt, Sandy, and Brads cousin, Lauren all went and delivered the presents the Saturday before Christmas. We had 2 families that we bought presents for and me and Brad were in charge of buying for a 5 year old little girl name Melissa. Gosh, it was such an incredible thing that we were able to do and help out these families! I got a quick picture of the little girl we bought for, but couldn't get much of the rest of the family. They didn't speak a lick of English and didn't know we were coming, but you didn't really need words to see how grateful the mother was. After all of us hit up this little restaurant that was in the area called Family Tree....ummm there scones were INSANE!! Loved them.......absolutely recommend the place to anyone, anywhere.
Another thing me and Brad did together was go to the Spoken Word the Sunday before Christmas. For anyone who hasn't gone, you have to go at least once in your life time. The Tabernacle Choir sings every Sunday morning for about half an hour to an hour. It got us right in the Christmas mood.
These next pics are of Christmas Eve with my family and our Oma (grandma). We were so lucky to have her come down to spend Christmas with us for the first time. Promise nothing in this world competes with Christmas Eve with the Weidner family. Also a little taste of Christmas morn and what our house looks like after 5 seconds of opening gifts....that's pretty much how long our Christmas mornings last.
Next bunch of pictures are of Christmas day with the Elders! Lisa always gets the girls the same PJ's, but this years look like she spent about 10,000 dollars on them....they are, by far, the nicest pj's I've ever owned!
This next picture is the cutest of them all-right when we got to the Elders, Brad, no lie, immediately got into his snow stuff, grabbed a shovel and went outside without saying a word to anyone. He was out there for about 2 hours. He comes inside so excited wanting to show me what he built. I go out to see, and the whole time he was making a snow igloo for little Bree, his niece. She LOVED it! I'm sure no one else loves this picture as much as I do, but it really was so cute how excited Brad was to built it for her.
These next pictures were from our annual Cousins Dodge Ball Game!! By far the BEST PART OF CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!! All of our cousins that live in Utah get together at a church for a huge meal and an awesome game of dodge ball! Everyone gets into it so much. Promise before every game each year I literally get nervous gut for how intense the games are. But man, they are well worth the year long wait..
