paris: the sights (part II)

ahhh, paris! paris was anything and everything i imagined.
i would say paris was my favorite city we visited.
the city just came alive at nights!
the eiffel tower really was a dream to be able to look at. actually, there were a lot of things that left me in "awe".
there were couples on every corner with a little blanket having cheese, fruit and wine throughout the city.
there was love in the air. really. i promise most of our pictures were of us kissing in paris, because well...it really just did that to ya.
it was romantic! maybe it had something to do with there being naked bodies every. single. place you looked. me and brad have never seen so many booblets and weens in our lives.

the city was absolutely beautiful, and the weather couldn't have been more perfect for us.

the hightlight of the entire 5 days we were there, was when me and brad went to a local market to get some brie cheese, a freshly made baguette, and some fresh fruit to eat under the eiffel.
it was bliss.

what we did and saw included:

• eiffel tower
• boat ride through paris-words can't describe how much all of us loved it
• the louvre museum (they say if you were to stand in front of everything in that museum for one minute, it would take you 4 months to go through.
• versaille (more to come)
• arc de triumph
• notre dame (more to come as well)
• pompidu museum
  
• the opera house (the one they filmed the Phantom of the Opera in, it was stunning)
• orangerie museum

Bon Jour Ce Va!!!! (part I)

We are home!!
it was the freaking trip of a lifetime!!!!
it was absolutely INCREDIBLE!!
i really don't even know how to describe it other than,
i know i will remember each and every single thing that i saw for the rest of my entire life!
we were beyond fortunate to be able to go-and we are constantly talking about all the little things that happened that make us want to go back...even though i won't lie, it feels fantastic to be home in our own bed.

we did so much! i would never know or even want to blog about all the details we did,
so i'll just jot down a list of the things we were able to see and do
and throw in some pictures here and there...because lets face it, reading everything in detail would bore you to suicide.
So i'll start with England...............i will live there some day.
the most quaintest place i've ever been to.
we couldn't get enough of driving on the wrong side of the road.
i also loved how proper everyone was. very well-mannered.
i was obsessed................................with everything.

• the town of Ely (pronounced Eel-lee) and checked out the cathedral, absolutely beautiful i might add...it was the first cathedral we saw on our trip, so naturally i was floored.
  
• the town of Cambridge
• Punting in Cambridge (boating with the stick down this beautiful river)
  
• the town of Stratford (shakespeare and ann hathaways home)
• British Museum
• Tower of London
• Bus Tour (The London Bridge (the one the song was named after) Parliment, The London Eye, Big Ben..)
• Buckingham Palace (watched the changing of the guards-a little overrated i might add)
• Piccadeli Circus
  
• and of course...we stopped by Platform 9 3/4 for all you harry potter lovers.

i tried to put the pictures in the order of what we did..

this is where we stayed for the first 3 days in england before we stayed in london. i loved so much staying in the countryside, it was so beautiful.

next........paris!

the waiting is over.

my sister stole my camera and went hog wild with some great pictures of herself while i was wavin' it up at the lake.
i thought it only perfect to let one of them be the picture i'll leave for you guys to look at for the next 2 weeks while i'm gone exploring the world.
don't mess with the best jackles.

i can't wait to tell you all about london, paris and rome when we get back!
i'm hoping i'm going to be a lot more mature and intellectual.

i've come to an agreement that money actually does buy quite a lot of happiness.

wave running.

saturday my parental units rented out some wave runners for the day.
it seriously was so fun!!
of course we packed enough food to feed an 800 pound man for a month,
and lounged and binged between runs as much as we could.
i highly recommend doing that if you don't have the luxury of owning a boat or a wave runner. just for the day. it's actually not too expensive.
it really was a blast being out there with them, even though
every single one of us are crazy drivers. i have battle wounds to prove it.
and my shoulders feel like they have been trampled on by dozens of horses from hanging onto dear life from that tube.

p.s. happy birthday little brother (carson), you're growing up to be one of the coolest guys i know!

lunch date

vanessa hill came into town from texas this past week-and meeting up was an absolute must.
all we do is laugh when we're together. she's hilarious and it's always a blast being able to be with her, even just for a lunch date.
