can't even tell you how obsessed i am when i don't have to wake up at 5:30 for work the next morning. the other day i didn't have to go into work till 8, so me and brad practically considered it a holiday, loaded up on otterpops (we found a freakin good deal at smiths 2 months ago-60 otterpops for 3 bucks-its been the only thing thats keeping us alive since we dont have air conditioning in our car)and headed to the park around 10 to gab.

good old fashioned fun
the fam got together for another birthday-robbie bobbie ro robbie bobbie! celebrated with our fam's favorite place, leatherbutts. our entire family jumped on the tramp before we headed out and for some reason i was obsessed with it. the weather was perfect and everyone was into it. it was just a good time that i couldn't get enough of!these next bits are just random-but the other day we had a woman that was 106 years freakin old that came to my work! she came walking in (notice the word walking) to get her throat widened.
(for those of you who don't know where i work, i work at a...get ready for this....a colonoscopy clinic. i do smell poo, and i do seem bumbs. i just check the patients in, and i've had to only work in the back once..and all i did was clean scopes-as in the scopes that go up the anus. yup, that's my daily grind.)
anyways, my work not only gets those colons, they also widen throats. so i couldn't get enough of this old woman, i asked her every question in the book, and my last question was "what is your secret to life?" and she answered by saying "if you don't use it, you'll lose it". i instantly fell in love with her. one of those one-timers that left me smiling for the rest of the day.
second random-i was born with the worst habit in the world...i'm a spitter. every where i go, i have to spit. when i'm washing my hands, i spit in the sink. doing dishes, i spit in the sink. those who run with me, know i can't go 2 steps without spitting. walking out to take the trash out-spit at least 7 times. its rude, crude and lude and i despise it. well, today i hit the lowest of lows. me and brad were just sitting on the couch talking and without even thinking i leaned over the couch arm rest and just spit........as in, on the carpet.....inside the apartment....without even thinking. i honestly just sat there and stared for a minute to realize what in the h e double i just did. me and brad were rolling for about half an hour. i have never felt so ridiculous wiping it up. thank goodness brad has a good sense of humor, or else i'm sure that would have been worth kicking me out of the house for. i love the guy.

fathers tribute
what can i say other than, i've lucked out big time. i love these 2 men more than words can explain. both are incredible, genuine guys that have taught me to be a better person through how they live there lives. both perfect examples of what it means to be a wonderful dad. once again, can't help but feel like the luckiest girl.
i love you both with all my heart.
and just a little shout out to my birth pops-you might just be the funniest, most humble, funniest guy i've ever met. thank you so much for all the late night chats, welcoming hugs and kisses, gospel conversations and unconditional love throughout my life. i couldn't have asked for a better upbringing from you and mom. thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for giving me such a wonderful life!

gosh we're lucky. not only we were able to hit up New Port when stace and dave lived there, (even though we did miss stacie and dave by a hair. when they were leaving last week we were getting there-and i ask, don't compare pictures if you look at there blog, HA! i will never have that gift that she does. ) anyways, this time the Elder's treated us to an awesome trip with there time-share stuff.
the weather was awesome the first couple of days, and perfect for when we went to 6 flags, and when i say perfect, i mean cloudy-but not raining. so it wasn't scorching hot while we were walking around and going on the rides.
we couldn't have asked for a better trip Jeff and Lisa!! we love you! thank you so much for all your time and effort putting this trip together, the memories are priceless and the company (jeff, lisa, scott and emily) was even better!! we wished so badly the rest of the family could have been there with us, but just know you were all in our thoughts while we were roasting in the sand and walking the pier. just kidding, but seriously, we really did miss you guys:)
and yes, brad had a hay-day with that mermaid.....

2 years down.
since we did nothing out of the norm for our 2 year anniversary, (like i said in the previous post, going over our money) thought i would just take a quick minute and jot down my top 5 favorite things about brad..
1) i can't tell you how much i love his random one-liners that have me rolling. 2) he has one of the most genuine hearts i've ever come across in my life. extremely down to earth! 3) i've never met anyone smarter. he's completely determined when it comes to school. learning things from him motivates me to read a book just so i can learn something. 4) his smile used to bug me beyond words, because i never knew what he was thinking because he smiles over everything (mad, sad, happy, excited, relaxed, etc.)-i've grown to love that smile more than anything in this life. now i do all i can to make him show those pearly whites.
5) everything is simplified to him. he's the most simple person i've ever met. simple with people, simple with choices, simple with love and simple with the gospel. he never complicates a thing more than it has to be. therefore-leaving my life to be just as simple.
6) his bumb
so i have nothing too huge to post other than....i sure love the guy more than words can say. these 2 years have been dang good to us-and i can't wait to see what lies ahead.
Thanks for making marriage everything i thought it was Bradley Allen. life is wonderful with you!
