i promise i'm dying looking through these pictures as i'm uploading them.

so this past week me and brad have pretty much been dead to the world because brads older brother ryan surprised everyone by driving his fam down to utah for the week. we've spent every waking minute with them and couldn't have been happier about it. i seriously can't tell you how much we love them. i love ryan and lizs kids so dang much. they're some of the cutest kids i know.

jeff-the oldest brother-was also in town for just a day. so all the brothers were together again after over 3 years of not seeing each other under the same roof. they are a freaking blast when they all get together. they're all hilarious and i still can't believe they were so willing to pose for the wives camera's as we were just shooting away. we were rolling when they were doing everything we asked them to do for the camera's.

july 4th and all it's glory.

what can i say, i'm proud to be a canadian and american.
although i was born in canada-
i love this country, and i love living in it...and i'm grateful for it.

parades, boating, picnics, fireworks, family, late night chats, and being together with the family pretty much sums it up. i hated that i couldn't be in canada, but i loved so much spending the time with brads family. they absolutely filled the hole of july first.
there is no order for the pictures, just threw them on here from the weekend.

saturday my sis in law, liz, decided to get up and run the half marathon. boggles my mind how people can do that.
we thought it only appropriate to get some doughnuts from our favorite, banbury doughnuts, and watch her on the side lines while she worked her skinny little butt off.

i'm so impressed with her. not just running wise, but motherhood wise, friendship wise, and loving wise. i truly feel privileged to have her for a sister. and i always think to myself, gosh..thank goodness we came together through family, because i would have never known someone like her existed on this earth.

and yes, i do get emotional watching all the people cross the finish line. especially the people that trickle in at the last. because you know they just gave it all they have to finish that race. there truly is nothing better than that feeling at the end of a race.

it's at 8:30 (PM) and it's just for an hour....and like i said, it's free.

i would be obsessed if you came! no, i really would, because it would help me get the job.

boating is the bomb.

nothing says summer like going boating. i never grew up with the luxury of being able to take a boat out on the lake whenever i wanted, so i promise when we get to go i feel literal butterflies when i'm on that weenie.
i may have said about 8 times, "this is the good life".
being out on the lake, it sure feels like it. despite the water being half poop...it's still the good life.
