a thank you note

our family is the suckiest of all sucks when it

comes to accepting compliments. 

i don't know who, why, what, how, and where it came from,

but it's weird and i don't like it.

but i feel like i need to say thank you

for all your incredibly nice comments about the pictures.

i can't tell you how heart warming it was to read them. 

and i also want to say thank you to all the comments

that are always left, even if it's just one.

i for sure don't blog for the comments,

but it's always an unexpected present when someone leaves one.

so from the bottom of my heart, thanks for reading the blog,

and thank you for your nice comments.

i saw this video on my good friends blog, brittany, and couldn't stop laughing.

i feel like i want to slap her senseless.

but yet, still couldn't stop watching this horrible woman.

the thing that made me laugh the most was what brittany said after

she posted this video, "she makes me feel normal".

winter 2010 shoot.

stace did an outstanding job!! her talent is unlimited when it comes to taking pictures.
we'll treasure these forever.
and yes, i'm well aware we don't have kids and we're still taking family pictures of ourselves.

work christmas parties are cool.

 we had our work party at the log haven this year.  it was gorgeous, and out of this world delicious. the best part was when i won a snuggie for my white elephant gift. best..........present............ever!

the best part was when everyone got plastured at the party with all that free wine and the 4 mormons were the only ones who showed up on time to work the next morning, if they showed up at all. but it was funny to watch all of them look and act like idiots while us sober ones had fun taking their pictures, ha.

maren ord.

my one claim to fame is my beautiful cousin, maren ord.

she's a singer, a song writer, and has written all of her own music. 

not to mention a phenomenal guitar player.

unfortunately she's from canada so her music is heard way

more there than it is in the states.

she's toured with sarah maclaclan and some other big dogs,

and you've most likely heard her songs on more tv shows to count.

she played the sister in RM and her song, Everyday, 

is featured in the movie Singles Ward.

she's just come out with her latest christmas single, 

the king is born,

and it is absolutely beautiful.

if you guys are looking for some new christmas music this season,

i highly recommend buying the song.

 could you die? that picture melts me. 

she was so willing to give me kisses with her slobbery love

and i couldn't help but flinch and tighten my lips when i tasted her snot.

every emotion caught in a picture. 

her and her lovin make me fall apart.

i just hope we're still best friends when she's a teen.

finally developed some film from our trip.

 awhile ago a good friend gave me his holga camera as an incredible gift. 

i thought i'd try it out while on a tropical island. 

some of them turned out awful, but these ones turned out awesome.  

i'm starting to grow fond of this little plastic camera.
